“I didn’t get the chance to graduate and I wasn’t even going through a pandemic, I was home schooled, so when it was time for me to graduate I was literally in Starbucks when I got my cap and gown,” she stated. “So I understood how it felt to not feel well known, or to not stroll throughout the phase.

” Think of going through a pandemic where you can’t even leave the house, you can’t even graduate in Starbucks if that was a choice. I wanted to do something for the class of 2020.”

Teyana likewise exposed that while she’s “not bitter” about missing out on life at high school, she acquired a new outlook when she delivered to her child Iman, who is now 4.

” It troubled me even more as soon as I had my child due to the fact that it was like, I can’t even inform you what to do, how to do it, how to get you all set for senior prom,” she sighed. ” You understand, those unique minutes that we desire as teens and young grownups and various things like that. I missed out on out on a lot of those things … It’s simply that, specifically as a woman, you desire to experience those things you see on TELEVISION.”
