Storm names for The weather bureau has announced the 2022/23 season.
Convention started in 2015 and usually runs from start of from autumn to the end of August year.
The names are compiled by the UK Met Office, Ireland’s Met Eireann weather forecaster and KNMI of the Netherlands.

Storms are called when they can cause en amber or red warning.
Will Lang of the Met Office head of situational awareness, said system been shown to raise public awareness of bad weather.
“We know from the age of seven of make storm names work,” he said.
“Last year Arwen and Eunice’s storms have had a big impact on the UK and we know that naming storms helps raise awareness and give in public in information They need stay safe in times of heavy weather.”

Anthony, Betty, Killian, Daisy, Elliot, Fleur, Glen, Hendrik, Yde, Joanna, Khalid, Loes, Mark, Nelly, Owain, Priya, Ruadhan, Sam, Tobias, Val and Wouter.
