Stockton serial murder suspect arrested on a ‘mission to kill’

Suspected serial killer in California city of Stockton was arrested on Saturday and police believe he was “out hunting” when he was captured.

“We sure we stopped another one killing”Chief Stanley McFadden, of The Stockton Police Department, said on news conference on Saturday.

Wesley Brownlee, 43, was arrested. in connection with six unprovoked killings of men from 21 to 54 years old over in last a few months. He was booked on murder charge on Saturday.

The police said the surveillance teams followed Brownlee while he was driving and stopped in area of Village Green Drive and Winslow Avenue around 2am Saturday.

“Our observation team chased the man while he was driving. We watched his models and determined this early in the morning; he was on a mission to kill. He was out hunting,” McFadden said.

McFadden added”As the officers made contact with he, he was wearing dark clothing and a mask around the neck. He was also armed with firearms when he was taken into custody.”

Brown will be arraigned on Tuesday and more charges are likely, police said.

San Joaquin County Office of A forensic medical examination identified the victims. Paul Yeow, 35, was killed. on July 8; Salvador Debudei Jr., 43, died on 11th August; Jonathan Hernandez Rodriguez, 21, was killed on August 30; Juan Cruz, 52, was the victim on 21 September; and Lawrence Lopez Sr., 54, were killed on September 27.

men According to officials, they were alone at the time of the fatal shot. All of killings took place at night or in early morning hours- said the police.

Another shooting of 46-year- an old black woman in Park Street and Union Street in Stockton at 3:20 on April 16, 2021 was also related to the investigation, police said earlier this month. Woman survived her injury in it’s shooting, they said.

Police said the motive is unknown. for murders, but it is believed that they were premeditated.
