41-year- An elderly man from Minneapolis was taken into custody on Wednesday morning as result of interagency efforts, including the FBI Violent Crime Task Force, St. Paul Police Department spokesman Sgt. David McCabe said. The suspect has not yet been formally charged.

Police say the shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon. on block 900 of Case Avenue East. Officials described it as “one of majority complicated scenes we explored in long” due to the number of victims.

Three of five victims were announced dead in place: 33-year-old Angelica Gonzalez, 42 years old-year-old Corey Freeman and 44-year-old Misha Spaulding, everyone of St. Paul. Two others were taken to the hospital; the police didn’t say how there were serious injuries.
