Two people are dead after small plane crashed in a remote area of Sacramento County on Sunday morning, authorities said. Victims of in crash were identified as 56-year-old Kenneth Muller of El Dorado Hills and 68-year-old Richard Conte of orangevale. A Beech 58 crashed into an orchard near Christensen and Twin Cities roads around 9 am. in Galt, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Authorities told KCRA 3 that firefighters had to swim across small body of water to get to the plane. Only Muller and Conte were on board and both died on the spot of in crash, according to officials.
