Six Pakistanis among eight Gasherbrum-I summit – Newspaper

GILGIT: Six Pakistani and two foreign climbers climb Gasherbrum-I, 11th highest mountain in in world at an altitude of 8080 meters above sea level, on Friday morning.

Led by Sirbaz Khan, climbers Niyla Kiani, Shehroze Kashif, Sajid Sadpara, Sohail Sakhi and Imtiaz Sadpara climbed to the summit, Alpine Club of Pakistan secretary Karar Haydri said. Foreign climbers included Sanu Sherpa from Nepal and Naoko Watanabe from Japan.

Gasherbrum-I, surveyed by K5, is located also known as Hidden Peak as it lies in one of the most difficult landscapes and is surrounded by some of in highest peaks.
