KARACHI: Sindh government begged again to the electoral commission for local delay government polls in Karachi, according to ARY News. on Thursday.

“Local Elections should be carried out in two phases, if they are not postponed”, government proposed. “Elections can be held in three districts in in first phase and the other four districts in in second leg,” the letter says.

It should be noted here that the Electoral Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on On Tuesday, it was decided that the local council elections in Karachi and additional polls for national and provincial assemblies will adopt place on their scheduled dates.
Formerly ESP announced October 23 as a date for local government elections in Karachi division and October 16 as the date for by-election in nine National Assembly constituencies and three provincial constituencies throughout the country.
second phase of local government elections in Sindh was originally planned to take place on July 24th. However, it was put off twice due to heavy rains and floods in provinces.
