An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 hit Shropshire. on This was announced on Monday afternoon by the British Geological Survey (BGS).
BGS said the quake hit around 3:36 p.m. at a depth of of 7 kilometers.
“BGS has received numerous reports that event residents felt it in Shropshire and surrounding counties,” they said. in statement.
Inhabitants in in area reported feeling trembling with some said their homes were shaken.
Claire Osborne from Shropshire said: on Twitter that she felt the earthquake while gardening.
Meanwhile, Sam Roberts in Wem, said “I definitely felt it… quite normal experience!!”
