ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and his French counterpart Catherine Colonna expressed their desire to cooperate on referring to challenge of climate change, the foreign ministry said on Wednesday.
At a meeting held on aside of COP27 summit in Egypt, two foreign ministers agreed to strengthen ties between the two countries in various areas, according to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry.
Zardari praised the measures taken by French President Emmanuel Macron as part of of a global campaign to mitigate the consequences of changing of the climate.
He also thanked Paris for Giving help flood victims in Pakistan.
Minister of State for Hina Rabbani Khar attended the meeting.
