Saudi Arabia Ranks 17th in Global Competitiveness Report
Improved Performance Across Indicators
Saudi Arabia climbed 7 places in the Global Competitiveness Report released today Tuesday by the Swiss IMD, ranking 17th in the world this year out of 64 countries included in the report.
The Kingdom has made this progress thanks to improved performance across a number of indicators, as Saudi Arabia moved up in the index of economic performance to sixth in the world this year from 31st last year.
Higher Rankings in Public Administration Efficiency and Business Sector Efficiency
It moved up to 11th place in public administration efficiency, up 8 spots from last year.
Saudi Arabia ranked 13th in business sector efficiency, moving up three spots from 2022 performance.
Top Three Countries in the Global Competitiveness Report
Denmark ranked first in this year’s competitiveness report, Ireland second and Switzerland third.
In conclusion, Saudi Arabia’s improved performance in economic, public administration, and business sector efficiency has led to their climb in rankings in the Global Competitiveness Report. With continued progress, Saudi Arabia has the potential to climb even higher in future years.
