Sadiq Khan convicted over crowding out of Cressida Dick | News

Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, faced serious questions tonight after official report found he demanded that Dame Cressida Dick break the law before expelling her from the Metropolitan Police.

Khan was found put pressure on on Dick “illegally” fired officers before abusing his power, playing politics and acts “depressing” in forcing her to resign as commissioner.

Sir Tom Winsor, former chief inspector of police, said Dick was “scared” to step down after Khan’s ultimatum over Charing Cross Scandal, in officers exchanged misogynistic, racist and offensive messages on WhatsApp.

Winsor concluded that Dick was a victim of “classic case of constructive dismissal in February when Khan failed to follow because of the process.
