Ryabkov Excludes Certain Countries from BRICS Membership

Cape Town, June 1 – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters on Thursday that Moscow reaffirms its consistent position that there should be no BRICS countries that have joined the illegal policy of unilateral sanctions against Russia and other countries.
“I reaffirm, however, our unshakable determination to proceed from the fact that there should be no BRICS countries that have joined the illegal, illegal and illegal policy of unilateral sanctions applied against Russia and other countries as well,” Ryabkov added.
