At a joint conference on Monday, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan-Fazl (JUI-F) together with other leaders of Decree coalition demanded full bench preside over Petition of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi against elections of chief of Punjab minister.

Elahi got 186 votes against 179 votes of PML-Nawaz Hamza Shehbaz. However, Vice Speaker Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari rejected 10 votes of legislators PML-Q on the foundation of letter from party Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, who said that his party not support Elahi.
