The Ministry of the Interior and NISZ Zrt. Announce for the third time the open source programming competition “Encode without borders!” with the title. The goal of the increasingly popular competition is for students interested in programming to expand their knowledge of the subject of open source technology. In addition to the glory, the winners will receive valuable prizes and internship opportunities

The success of the initiative is reflected in the fact that the number of high school entries doubled in the second year of the tournament and many students put their skills to the test again. . Competitors gained a wide range of knowledge and the professional experience of returning competitors expanded dramatically. As a novelty of the program this year, the organizers will also help with the preparation with a series of sample tasks, which are available on the competition.nisz.hu website. Until November 1, 2021, teams of 3 people will also have the opportunity to enter on this interface. For the test, high schools 9-13.

The members of the first three placed teams will receive valuable material prizes and the preparatory teachers will receive professional support to expand their knowledge. In addition, a scholarship and internship program awaits the most talented students.

The online high school championship will feature two online rounds in November 2021, after which the top 10 teams will advance to the January 2022, 24-hour national final. The final event – if the epidemic situation allows – will be attended in person by the students and the most skillful 3 teams in 15-15 minutes, you can also present your completed work in detail. Among them, students who develop the work judged by the professional jury to be the most creative and best executed will win the “Code Without Borders!” High school competition series 2022.
In the final 24-hour fight, teams must develop an on-site, real-world application to solve a real-world task in a pre-defined open source framework.
