Red Arrows members investigated over alleged inappropriate behavior | royal air force

UK defense minister confirmed that the members of The red arrows were removed from the Royal Air Force’s elite antenna display team like accusations of “unacceptable behavior” are being investigated.

The Times reported that more than 40 personnel including young female recruits provided 250 hours of evidence of the investigation that started this year by describing aerobatic maneuvers display team as “toxic”.

Armed Forces minister James Hippie told Times Radio that some personnel was removed from display team for this season.

The hippie said he had confidence in Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston and his team investigated the allegations.

He said: “The most highest of standards required of our armed forces through the board and 99.99% of they deliver in shovels. Those who have the privilege of service in organization like the Red Arrows, I think, have an even greater responsibility, because they are so in in public eyes, and statements that were made very worried indeed.

“The Royal Air Force has taken, I think, the right action. in that they have those against who were these accusations made under investigation. I’m sure the chief of in air staff and his team are investigating these allegations – they have taken steps to remove them from display team for this season.

“We will wait until these investigations are complete in front of people responsible held accountable.”

The Times reported that the alleged victims were told that if they spoke up they will be sent home or kicked out of RAF.

The newspaper reported that senior Leaders ‘Swept Grievances Under the Rug’ for years to protect reputation of people considered “untouchable”.

“We won’t comment further. on individual circumstances of specific personnel moves that were made without prejudice and are result of both for personal and professional reasons.

“Accusations of Red Arrows pilots flying while intoxicated are unfounded. All pilots of the Royal Air Force, in Red Arrows or otherwise, subject to strict rules on drinking alcohol before any flight. Safety remains the main thing and any pilot found those who violated these rules would simply not be allowed to fly, and face disciplinary action.”
