Punjab governor to take oath of office to cabinet ministers tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) decided to improve working relations with provincial governments in Punjab and KP led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), reports ARY NEWS.

According to sources involved in the case, move Improving working relations will be implemented from tomorrow when Punjab Governor Balig ur Rehman, a supporter of PML-N, will be sworn in to the newly minted elected Cabinet of the Punjab.

“Federal government wants to improve working relationships with governments of Punjab and KP,” they said.

Newly appointed members of Punjab cabinet was assigned briefcases Chief Minister Parvez Elahi on Thursday after Imran Khan approved their appointments.

According to the details, members of Punjab Cabinet, announced earlier today, portfolios were assigned.

The portfolios assigned to cabinet members are as follows:

Mohsin Laghari: Ministry of Finance

Taimur Malik: Ministry of Sports

Raja Yasser: Ministry for Information technology and higher education

Ansar Niazi: Minister of Labor, work

Raja Bisharat: Minister of Cooperatives and Public Prosecutions

Shahb-ud-Din: Minister of Livestock

Munib Cheema: Ministry of Transport

Murad Raas: Ministry of Education

Yasmin Rashid: Ministry of Health

Khurrum Virk: Ministry of parliamentary affairs

Hashim Dogar: Ministry of interior, ministry of Prison

Asif Nakki: Ministry of Excise and taxation

Ali Shah: Ministry of Works and communication

Nawabzada Mansoor Khan: Ministry of Income

Jahanian Gardezi: Ministry of Agriculture

Ghazanfar Abbas: Ministry of Social Security

Latif Nazar: Ministry of Minerals
