ISLAMABAD: PTI leader and singer Abrar-ul-Haq was removed as chairman of Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), News reported on Friday.

President Arif Alvi appointed Sardar Shahid Ahmed Lagari on Thursday new Chairman of the PRSP for three years, after which the Ministry of The National Health, Regulatory and Coordination Services notified of his appointment.

The singer and politician was appointed chairman of the Pakistani Red Crescent Society. on On November 15, 2019, Said Elahi served as Acting Chairman. of PRCS prior to Haq’s appointment.

Elahi disputed Haq’s appointment in Islamabad High Court (IHC) just days after he assumed office.
