PTI sues ECP for removal of notifications from only 11 deputies

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rescheduled Islamabad High Court (IHC) against election Committee of Pakistan (ECP), blaming him of be B-team of ruling Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) coalition after former accepted the resignation of 11 deputies.

PTI MPs resign en masse in April after Imran Khan was ousted from office prime minister through controversial vote of no-confidence. The resignation was initially accepted by then Vice Speaker Qasim Khan Suri, but his successor Raja Perwaiz Ashraf reversed the decision. decision due process requirement of verification did not follow.

Earlier in a press interview outside Supreme Court, Umar said that his party went to court after being suspected of violating the rules play.
