LOWER DIRECTORY: PTI Member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Malik Liaquat Ali Khan was severely injured, four more died after unidentified men attacked him Geo News.
The police reported that the MPA was on his way to his village Nagotal in Lower Dir region, when it was attacked by armed criminals.
PTI MPA is being transferred to Peshawar due to its critical condition.
According to police, the militia official and the policeman were tortured, and three more people were injured due to firing.
According to the police, the victims were taken to the Timergar district hospital.
Victims who were killed during firing include Khan brother and his nephew.
CM KP order immediate arrest of culprits
KP Chief Minister Mahmoud Khan took notification of Incident and dispatched inspector general of police (IG) to take the necessary steps for direct arrest of suspected of involvement in in attack.
Condemning what happened, the chief minister called it a cowardly act and said that the guilty cannot escape from the law.
” people involved in the incident will be arrested and taken to justice”, he promised CM.
CM Mahmoud also wished for quick recovery of MPA and others people who got injured. He expressed his condolences to the families of tortured police and fees personnel.
