PTI minister Shirin Mazari called the decision of the Supreme Court a “judicial coup”

ISLAMABAD: a landmark judgment of Federal Minister Shirin Mazari said on Friday that the Supreme Court’s decision to restore the National Assembly and annul the decision of Vice Speaker Kasim Suri is a “judicial coup.”

federal minister took on Twitter today and shared her opinion on decision of the highest court, which was welcomed by the lawyers of the community, opposition parties and representatives of civil society.

Five judges bench of The Supreme Court announced the decision of NA Vice Speaker Qasim Suri declared unconstitutional and canceled all actions taken government from 03 April including dissolution of assembly and initiation of process of formation of the caretaker’s attitude in the country.

Other members of the federal cabinet also criticized the decision of the Supreme Court. Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, in statement on social media called the decision “unsuccessful” that would worsen the political crisis.
