Priti Patel orders to “wake up” the police back back to basics

Last week the police in Lincolnshire faced criticism after the show on social media performance of Macarena at LGBTQ+ Pride event.

David Spencer Policy Exchange Report, former detective chief inspector for metropolitan Police, set out “back to the basics” approach. It included use of powers to dismiss chief constables of weakening forces and clear Crime solving prioritization guide over “woke up” the political causes.

“To maintain the public confidence that the police are acting with impartiality, police officers and their supervisors should always avoid such actions. This should to be made clear in both national and local leadership.

The message said that the Minister of the Interior already has the right to set priorities for strength and should “to have courage” use them, including, if necessary, providing direction to the police and crime commissioner dismiss chief constable of failure force.

it also said the police should do more use of technology focus your work on crimes and riots that concern residents, suggesting use of apps for police and public communicate with each other.
