Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif steps down for Dubai after completing Visit to Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif steps down for Dubai from Jeddah to pay one-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after completing his successful visit to Saudi Arabia.

During his stay in Dubai, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to hold a meeting with Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Radio Pakistan reported.

The two sides will discuss bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UAE and other issues. of mutual interest.

Previously prime together with the delegation paid for the three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia by invitation of Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman.

Meeting between Prime Minister Sharif and Director General of the OIC in Taha

Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed his government’s desire to advance the interests of of Muslim ummah as a cornerstone of foreign policy.

He spoke with OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha, who called on his in Mecca Mukarrama on Saturday.

The Prime Minister thanked the OIC secretary-general for consistently and clearly support of organization of Islamic cooperation in Kashmir causereports state radio.

He called organization to lead diplomatic efforts to promote a peaceful and lasting solution of Jammu and Kashmir dispute in conformity with Resolutions and aspirations of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) of Kashmiri people.

prime minister said Pakistan like current Chair of OIC Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, seeking forward to playing active role with with regard to questions of interest and concern of the OIC Member States.

Shehbaz Sharif called on the OIC to start joint efforts to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression. against Al-Aqsa Mosque and other occupied Palestinian territories.

He also emphasized need for security of urgent humanitarian aid to the Afghan people. He emphasized that the OIC should step up their efforts to counter the growing Islamophobia in international level.

He invited the OIC secretary-general pay a visit to Pakistan, which was accepted.

secretary-general confirmed support for a just and peaceful solution of Jammu and Kashmir dispute in conformity with UN Security Council resolutions.

He expressed his resolve to work close with Pakistan on key questions of concern of the Muslim Ummah, especially Palestine, Afghanistan and Islamophobia.
