Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif responds to Imran Khan’s accusations

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday said ‘corruption was at its peak’ during his tenure of Imran Khan according to a report by Transparency International and even transfers and publications were on sale.

AT series of tweets, prime minister wrote: “Imran Niyazi suffers memory loss and needs a few reminders. First, according to a Transparency International report, corruption increased during its rule. Even transfers/messages were on sale in addition to big fraud”.

“Two, people pay price of how he mismanaged economy”, he said, adding: “Thirdly, Imran Niyazi deeply wounded global prestige and standing of country and its relations with friendly countries. Four, he lost his sense of balance in his lust for power, as evidenced by his habitual appeal to lies, propaganda and outright twisting of data”.

Prime Minister Shehbaz’s statement comes in answer to former Prime Minister Khan’s tweet in whom he warned that Pakistan is not far from the moment of Sri Lanka when public will fill the streets for “Hakiki Azadi”.

On Twitter, Imran Khan lamented that the mafia, led by Asif Zardari and Sharif family brought the country to its knees politically and economically in just over three months.

He added who did it just to keep their ill-gotten wealth accumulated over 30 years of plunder Pakistan. “My question is: how how long will state institutions be allow this is?”

Khan said what can he say with confidence after his interaction with nation and their reaction to it call for Haqiqi Azadi what people of Pakistan is tired and will not allow these mafias to keep looting and looting.

“We are not far from Sri Lanka of the moment when our public pouring out outside,” he said.
