Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif rejects Imran Khan’s offer demand for immediate elections

ISLAMABAD: rejecting demand for immediate election of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Prime Minister (Prime Minister) Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said the National Assembly (NA) will decide when to hold general elections in countries, reports ARY News.

Turning to floor of National Assembly, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, they will not take any dictation for holding general elections, adding that the doors for negotiations are open for everyone.

“Ready to set up a committee, but won’t take dictation anyone,” is he added.

Commenting on passage of The Election Amendment Law, the premier said that the National Assembly laid foundation of free and fair elections by passing this bill. Shahbaz spent the previous government of PTI for ruin of the country economy.

Previously in day, pushed out prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan gave six- the day of the ultimatum to the federal government to dissolve assembly and announce new elections.

Turning to participants of “Azadi March” on Jinnah Avenue, said Imran Khan. government tried every method to suppress our march, they used tear gas on peaceful protest, our homes raids and privacy were made of in homes were violated.

Providing a deadline for government announce date for fresh polls in country, said Imran Khan, “he gives six a one-day ultimatum government to dissolve meetings and announce general elections in June.”
