Tarar also submitted to the Supreme Court in 2012 saying what then elected prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani, was not only removed from office in contempt of court case, but he was also disqualified as a member of parliament.

He also indicated out that the then member of the National Assembly, Wasim Sheikh, together with some lawyers and ordinary citizens, not only were indicted in case of terrorism and thrown in jail just for beating in the chest during a protest in rally, but they were punished for contempt of trial and disqualified.

However, in the case of Imran, he continued, “as a lawyer, I feel a little strange that in happening of serious contempt of court in that more bench was drawn up, the court showed leniency and gave him [Imran] another opportunity to enter another reply so he can find way”.

Tarar said that in in history of Pakistan when the court took up disrespect deed and contemnor had no shame of what he did was rather insist that he did it and was right in his opinion, it is unlikely that this person was ever allowed off court without punishment.

“I get the impression that Imran Khan is the favorite of some circles, minister told reporters. “In order to dispel this impression, it is important to keep the spirit of Article 25 of Constitution, which deals with “equality before the law” and “equal protection of law”.

Tarar stressed that the implementation of laws in in true meaning was in interest and survival of state. “We are very sad and hard. Talk about gender equality in our society and use of such language about women never endured should do not reconcile.
