ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday announced postponement of his visit to the United Arab Emirates is planned for September 3 with a view concentrate on ongoing rescue work in in flood- devastated areas of country.
“I was set visit UAE on September 3 on invitation of The president. We mutually decided to postpone the visit so that I could concentrate. on ongoing rescue and salvage operations”, prime minister wrote on Twitter.

He said that Pakistan will forever be indebted to “our brothers and sisters”. who standing next to us in this is challenge”. prime minister said the UAE has started deliveries first tranche of humanitarian goods worth $50 million for in flood victims in Pakistan.
He said that in his telephone conversation with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan last night, the latter assured that the UAE would continue help flood affected people of Pakistan.
