Phone-tapping bid to ‘pressurise judges’: Imran

LAHORE: Former Prime Minister and Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday that the tapping of phone calls are an attempt to “pressure” the judges and stop rule of law in a country.

Imran Khan made statement during the meeting with reviewers and senior writers in which he discussed political strategyeconomic challenges and terrorist acts. He also worked out on Bharo Tehreek PTI prison and its goals.

The head of PTI said that the ongoing propaganda against the judiciary, especially the judges, are disgraceful. He added that Pakistan Muslim Nawaz League (PML-N) has history of focus on the judiciary. Khan said that the audition of phone calls are an attempt to “put pressure on the judges” and stop rule of law.

Khan said that the judiciary last hope of nation. He added What government should implement rule of law without putting pressure on judges.

The head of the PTI claimed that the Chief Electoral Commissioner (CEC) is main supporter of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in constitutional violations. He added that the current government promotes vindictive actions and political dictatorship.

Khan expressed his resolve that PTI will put an end to lawlessness and the economic crisis with nation support adding what he has announced Start of bharo prison movement for real independence.

He said that political stability would bring economic stability to the country, which is impossible without rule of law.

Khan claimed that Qamar Javed Bajwa confessed to play role in changed the regime and violated his oath. He added what about Kamar Javed Bajwa also admitted to management by the National Accounting Bureau (NAB).

He also claimed that Bajwa also confessed in an audiotape that it was illegal step. He demanded military institution to investigate Bajwa steps.

Imran Khan praised President Dr. Arif Alvi for without signing the resolution on the financial bill. He said that the finance bill would cause inflation in the country.

He said economic indicators were positive during PTI government. He said that by default risk to Pakistan reached 100 per cent during the current government.

As for his case, Khan said he was being called to court despite the doctors preventing him from walking.

The head of PTI said that they have sacrificed the government in two provinces to end the crisis by holding new elections, but the rulers delayed the elections. He added that the elections should held within 90 days of dissolution of assembly in accordance with the Constitution.

He argued that the provisional government was not impartial. He added What false cases are initiated against Leaders and supporters of the PTI, in addition to their arrests.

Imran Khan said they accepted a peaceful way protest against V government announcing the Jail Bharo movement. They will surrender to authorities across the country. He said PTI would start bharo prison movement on February 22.

Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday condemned the terrorist attack on Karachi Police Department (KPO). On Twitter, he said: “One day again our brave police have been targeted.” He pointed out that all of a sudden spike in especially terrorism in in the middle of urban centers “reflects failure of intelligence and lack of state of A clear active anti-terrorist policy”.

His comments appear after group of terrorists stormed the police building in southern port city of Pakistan. Four people – sub-inspector of the rangers, a police constable and two civilians – were killed. in V attack.
