After news of Musharraf’s ill health, PML-N is the main stakeholder in in coalition government – and military management stated that former the president should be taken to the country if he wants to come back.
PML-N Supreme Leader Nawaz Sharif last week asked coalition government help Musharraf if he wants to return to Pakistan, adding that he has no “personal grudge or fight” with former dictator.
“I don’t have a personal grudge or a fight with Pervez Musharraf. I do not want anyone otherwise suffer the traumas I have to endure for my loved ones”, three times prime minister declared on Twitter.
Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar also said military management believes that former army commander should return to Pakistan.
“In such a situation, the institution and position of the leadership are such that Pervez Musharraf should come back,” said DG ISPR during an interview with a private TV channel.
Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif also believes there are no obstacles should be posted if former the dictator wants to come back to Pakistan.
“Due to the poor health of General Musharraf, no obstacles should be placed for his return to Pakistan”, defense minister said in statement on Twitter.
He said that past events should not be involved in it’s the way he prayed for Musharraf recovery.
