Passengers walk through the Eurotunnel after a train break down inside | UK news

The passengers were left stuck in Eurotunnel after train breakdown down inside.

Video published on social media seemed show travelers walking through the central service tunnel after their train broke down down on the way to France on Tuesday evening.

representative for Eurotunnel Le Shuttle stated: “The train broke down down in tunnel and we in process of transfer of clients to a separate passenger shuttle via service tunnel to return to our terminal at Folkestone.

“We sincerely apologize for it’s an inconvenience.”

Passengers were reportedly forced to leave their vehicles and were accompanied on sole.

The Eurotunnel is a 31-mile rail tunnel connecting Folkestone in Kent with cocktails in north of France.

This is the third longest railway tunnel. in in world and has the longest underwater stretch of any tunnel in in world.

Tuesday’s incident follows a similar episode back in April when the train broke down down in tunnel on st. start of in first school holidays after COVID-19 travel rules were written off.

Eurotunnel discovered safety problem on freight train that was supposed to be fixed inside the tunnel before being taken away back in Kent, blocking one of two tunnels.
