Pakistan condemns extrajudicial killing of Kashmiris by Indian troops in IIOJK
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the out-of-court killing of two more Kashmiri youth in staged operation “cordon and search” in Pulwama area of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) took place Sunday.
This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in statement that martyrdom of nine Kashmiris in just in last four days, including two in Anantnag, three in Baramullinsky district and four in Pulwama districts of IIOJK, was very reprehensible and kind of of relentless brutality campaign of oppression against Kashmiris.
“More than 609 innocent Kashmiris have been tortured by the Indian occupying forces. in staged clashes as India’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019,” he said.
The spokesman announced the increase killing fun in IIOJK was clear manifestation of India using state terrorism as policy tool against Kashmiris.
Indian occupying forces up extrajudicial executions of Kashmiris especially targeting Kashmiri youth after misconduct conviction and sentencing of Hurriyat leader Yassin Malik in very suspicious and far-fetched case.
He said that the Indian occupying forces are still active. with complete impunity under draconian laws such as the Public Safety Act (PSA), the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), and the Prevention of Unlawful Activities Act (UAPA).
Pakistan reiterates its call on in international community hold India accountable for its gross and systematic violations of human rights in IIOJK. India should allow independent UN commission investigation of Investigation following the recommendation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in his reports on Kashmir for 2018 and 2019,” the spokesman said.
He also urged international community to play this is role in assistance just and peaceful solution of Jammu and Kashmir dispute in conformity with relevant UN Security Council resolutions and wishes of Kashmiri people, for lasting peace and stability in South Asia.
