An elegant wreath-laying ceremony was organized in Mazar-Iqbal, the commander of the garrison, Major General Muhammad Shahbaz Khan, laid a fateh and expressed his respect great poet and philosopher.

General Officer Commanding Major General Malik Muhammad Amir Khan also laid a wreath at the grave of Major Shabir Sharif Shahid (Nishan-e-Haider) in tribute on Day of Defense at Myani Sahib Cemetery in Lahore.
