Itelligence now operates under the name NTT DATA Business Solutions. In accordance with the global growth strategy of the parent company NTT DATA, the merging of the brands took effect on the Hungarian market on April 1. As the business continues uninterrupted, the content of the new name expands, the leaders of the domestic subsidiary promise.
The two brands have been appearing together for some time, as NTT DATA has been a 100% owner of itelligence since 2012. As one of the world’s largest SAP partners, itelligence | For example, NTT DATA Business Solutions achieved sales of more than € 1 billion in the last calendar year with its SAP solutions consulting, management and customer-driven innovation services. However, in line with the parent company’s strategy for further global growth, the company will operate under the name NTT DATA Business Solutions AG from 1 April
Under its combined brand name, NTT DATA Business Solutions AG will continue to operate as a stand-alone company, with more than 10,000 employees and management of existing management in 30 countries around the world. In addition to the name and the image that will change from red to blue, what is changing from now on in the domestic market, we asked Zsuzsanna Földházin Szakács and Róbert Németh, two managing directors of NTT DATA Business Solutions Ltd.

Computerworld: Brand Unification and arguments can be lined up while retaining well-known brands. Why did the group of companies decide to merge with ONE NTT DATA branding?
Zsuzsanna Földháziné Szakács: Itelligence AG is SAP’s highest level Platinum partner , which means that the software company also offers next – generation business applications and custom solutions for them from its own data centers to customers in many countries around the world. These competencies have made itelligence one of the best-known members of the SAP ecosystem, and we are the only platinum-grade partner in the domestic market.
NTT Data also noticed this, its first international professional investment in 2008- was the acquisition of a majority stake in itelligence AG, which it increased to 100% four years later. The two companies have since achieved everything they could with the joint appearance of the brands. NTT DATA is the world’s eighth most valuable – and one of the fastest growing – brands in the IT services market, ranking in the top ten in both the business and IT services segments. The ONE NTT DATA branding, which has been prepared over the years and is now emerging prominently, aims to make the group one of the five largest players in the market in the short term. To this end, NTT DATA Business Solutions further emphasizes the Group’s offering of SAP-centric business solutions for both the small and medium-sized enterprise sector and large enterprises.
CW: While rebranding is a turning point in the life of any company, continuity in business is vital. How to balance the two in practice
Róbert Németh: Our contracts with customers, partners and service providers live unchanged, our started projects run smoothly. NTT DATA Business Solutions operates in the domestic market in the same way as itelligence Hungary has operated so far, including the continuation of our competencies related to Software AG and Open Text solutions, this continuity is essential.
Under our unified brand name In the colors of the 130,000-strong NTT DATA, we will continue to display the group’s SAP-focused business solutions, but our offering will be expanded with a broader portfolio of our parent company. We include Amazon Web Services and Microsoft-based solutions in our palette, among others. For example, we support our comprehensive business solutions, from corporate governance to process management and content management, in a multi-cloud environment according to the diversifying needs of digitization.
CW : What innovations can domestic customers of NTT DATA Business Solutions expect from now on?
FSZZS: We are counting on the further momentum of the accelerated digitalisation last year in our key focus areas, from the automotive industry, from manufacturing to logistics and shipping to trade. We are now supporting the new technologies in our portfolio together with the group’s other Hungarian subsidiary, the NTT Hungary team, and in cooperation with its sister companies in the region, as international presence is one of our goals in line with the parent company’s strategy.
Our next-generation SAP solutions include Small and Medium Business One and Enterprise S / 4 In addition to HANA, we also offer the SAP Business ByDesign ERP solution, which has not been available on the Hungarian market so far. We have localized the cloud-based solution tailored for larger medium-sized companies, so it fits extremely well with the needs of domestic companies. For our customers with classic R / 3, we offer an SAP-certified conversion process to speed up and make S / 4HANA migration more efficient. We have grown last year and continue to look forward to this with the digital, cloud-based transformation of corporate governance
