Nvidia brings extra possibilities PC version Battlefield 2042 in the picture

Nvidia highlights some graphical options in a new trailer for Battlefield 2042.

The footage in the trailer was shot with an Nvidia RTX 30 card and shows, among other things, how ray tracing is applied to ambient occlusion. In particular, this adds shadows to objects such as large excavators and under soldiers’ helmets.

Deep learning super sampling, dlss, further allows players to display higher resolution or experience better performance thanks to the upscaling technique. In the latter case, the video card is less heavily loaded, leaving room for higher frame rates.

Finally, Battlefield 2042 supports Nvidia Reflex, which Nvidia says improves both accuracy and responsiveness of input.

Battlefield 2042 will be released on November 19 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and PC. Owners of the Gold and Ultimate versions of the game will be able to play as early as November 12.
