Nanny who stabbed her husband to death how he lay in the bed was imprisoned for life.

Rebecca Searing, 52 who must serve 17 years in prison before it can be considered for parole, said 999 call handler: “I stabbed husband twice.”

She had also sent someone a message that “it’s time kill”.

She attacked 57-year-old Paul Searing. on Feb 12 a few hours after he returned from the pub to their home in Harlow, Essex, Chelmsford Crown Court heard.

Judge Christopher Morgan told the defendant, who It was also drank, helped her husband upstairs and then back down to his home in Rycroft.

“Shortly before 2:30 you took knife from the kitchen made your way upstairs and you stabbed husband how he lay in bed,” the judge said.

He said Siring later said, “Tonight I took my chance.”

The judge said that the defendant husband “posed no threat” and “in in all likelihood he was asleep.

He said Siring proposed to her husband called it “useless” or “useless”.

The judge said: “At whatever stage these words were not an excuse. for what were you supposed to do later on.”

Burning was found guilty of murder after an earlier nine-day trial.

Allan Compton QC for prosecution, read out a statement by Mr. Siring’s sister, Karen Krokow, in which, according to her, he “worked hard as cabinetmaker and took pride in his work”.

She described him as “cheerful, lucky and also football”Crazy, he loved Tottenham Hotspur.”

Mr Siring, who was “an exceptionally dedicated person, caring, warm and kind,” said Ms. Crocoe.

She described the defendant 999 call as “intimidating”, adding, “Perhaps she was good nurse, but that doesn’t make her good human.”

Sasha Wass QC, softening, said the couple had a “difficult relationship.”

She said, “She loved him despite the difficulty of this relationship and she still loves him.”

Ms Wass said it was “a relationship that included regular domestic violence.”
