No Pakistani students in The United States did not refuse Bilawal Bhutto’s lecture

Late last a week, news began to circulate on social media that students from several well-known universities in The United States refused to host Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari despite requests from him team.

In addition to tweets from media personality, and senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shandana Gulzar Khan also tweeted that she was tipped off by “a man in sensitive post that foreign ministers team contacted Columbia University, New York University and Cornell University.

Pakistani students at the university refused, Khan said.

Statement issued by the Organization of Pakistani students at Columbia University denied the allegation, adding that they did not team contact them for no such lecture, nor did they renew the invitation.
