Newcastle Secures Champions League Spot After 20-Year Absence

English club Newcastle have managed to qualify for the European Champions League for the first time in 20 years, securing a qualifying position for the English Premier League.

St James’ Park hosted Newcastle’s match against Leicester City in Matchday 37 of the Premier League this season.

The match between the two teams ended in a goalless draw and Macbase managed to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 2003.

As owner of the land, with this draw he raised his score to 70 points, finishing third in the English Premier League standings, 3 points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.

So far, he has moved away from Liverpool in fifth place with 66 points and 37 appearances, and he has one match left.

So if Newcastle lost their last match in the Premier League, they could drop to fourth, but not fall to fifth if fifth-placed Liverpool also win their last match, and therefore “Mcbase” decided on his ascent to the Champions League.

Where the top four places in the Premier League qualify directly for the Champions League.
