New York: Stranger snaps the only photo of couple’s sunset wedding on Brooklyn Bridge

Nevona Friedman was biking on the bridge, which crosses the East River in between Manhattan and Brooklyn in New York City, over the weekend when she found the set getting wed.

Not wishing to disrupt their private event – which was only participated in by an officiant – she chose to track them down on social media rather.

“They were so invested in each other, so like they were looking at each other, so I didn’t want to be like, ‘Here, I took a photo of you,'” Ms Friedman informed NBC News.

The 26- year-old posted the image on Twitter, composing: “If you were getting married on the Brooklyn Bridge this evening, I’ve got some photos for you!”

Simply a day later on, she had the ability to connect with the couple – Karolina Kovalenko and Stephan Ponova.

“We are very happy that she found us,” stated Ms Kovalenko, describing that the images recorded by Ms Friedman were the only ones from their big day.

The event was precisely one year after they met while backpacking through South America.

“The second we found each other, we just realised that it’s home,” Ms Kovalenko stated.

The couple want to hold another event with good friends and family when they can, and noise totally loved-up, stating: “We wish everyone to find a person who makes them feel this way.”
