Intel’s so-called Alder Lake generation is most likely November 4 to launch. In the run-up to the new processors — and with it the associated Z690 motherboard chipset — hardware manufacturers are more likely to shed some light on the veil.
The three teaser images mainly focus on the IO shell on the back of the motherboards. This seems to come pre-installed more and more, with a growing amount of connectors on the back. In these three cases, all motherboards also seem to be equipped with Wi-Fi capabilities.
Tech-Twitteraar @momomo_us advised interested parties soon on more technical details. For numerous MSI’s Z690 motherboards, the insider shared a set of specifications. For example, with select motherboards there appears to be a choice of DDR4 or DDR5 memory and MSI’s most luxurious models (often under the MEG name) are said to have up to five M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs.
A price indication of the various motherboards is not yet available. In terms of actual publication period, ‘beginning of November’ is still obvious; after all, it was also MSI who revealed with their AIO coolers that the Alder Lake generation from Intel will kick off around November 4.
