DANBURY – A mother seems to have strangled her three children before killing himself, police said late Thursday morning.
preliminary investigation shows that Sonia Loja, 36, killed her children Junior Panjon, 12, Joselyn Panjon, 10, and Jonael Panjon, 5, before killing herself in barn, said Danbury Police Detective Captain Mark Williams.
Williams said that children seemed die strangulation, and Loja died by hanging in barn in backyard. autopsy scheduled for Thursday.

Danbury police said they were called to Whaley Street. home around 18:30 Wednesday for welfare check. According to Danbury Police Chief Patrick Riedenhur, the caller was upset and crying.

Neighbor Atkin Guichard said he was shocked and “horrified” by the violent death.
“This is a very quiet area, if something happens, everyone on block attached to knowGuichard said. who lived there for 18 years. “But it’s a tragedy that I can’t even understand.”
“This is shocking. I can not believe this. I’m still shaking,” he said. “I can’t believe something like it is happened on this is street. It’s very quiet street. you do not hear of things like what’s going on here”.
When the birds tweeted, Guichard said: “If you listen now, this is how it’s usually in this is area,” he said. “It’s a quiet area.”
Bioger said he never saw police action. in its 25 years old in area.

As for nearby house in the center of tragedy, he said children often seen happy playing in in yard.
“They always wave to me when I get out of in car”, – said Bioger. “When I get off workthey playing in in the yard laughing, riding on their own bikes. Nothing out of ordinary. You would never think anything like it will happen”.
