Miguel Oliveira without hot cloths: “Being the 10th, 11th or 12th is irrelevant to me”

Portuguese rider’s main objective in Valencia is to be competitive

Miguel Oliveira is physically recovered from the accident he suffered at the MotoGP Algarve GP and is going to the last race of the season “without limitations ” assuming as the main focus for the GP of the Comunidad Valenciana “ending the race and being competitive”.

“The season is practically over for me and the ‘top 10’ is worth what it’s worth. The final position in the championship will reflect a very poor second half of the season. Being the 10th, 11th or 12th is irrelevant to me, I just want to have a strong season and be consistent”, he said in statements published by the Lusa agency.

The Portuguese KTM driver lost 10th place in the World Championship in the last race, having dropped to 13th after another retirement this season. Having been knocked to the ground by a fellow satellite teammate tamed his frustration.

“I was having a decent race, not a strong one, because we couldn’t do more. It would be nice to finish the race. What I felt was frustration at not having finished. I wanted to say goodbye to the audience, but it wasn’t possible”

, said Miguel Oliveira.

O Falcão returns to the track already on this one Friday with the first free practice for the GP of the Comunidad Valenciana, the 18th and last race of the season.
