The man is accused with after fatally shooting a Rochester police officer and injuring the officer’s partner and someone nearby, pleaded not guilty on Saturday.
During a brief appearance in court, Calvin Vickers pleaded not guilty to second- degree of murder attempt murder, number of attacks and weapons. He was ordered to be held without bail.
According to the police, 21-year-old fired somewhat rounds in an unnamed, parked vehicle late Thursday, killing 29-year veteran Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz and wounded officer Sino Seng. A 15-year- old girl in beside house was also shot and wounded.
Two officers were part of plainclothes unit and investigated murder. Vickers was found an hour later in vacancy house nearby, and the police said the loaded gun was found which could be used in shooting.

Vickers from Boston area and has an extensive criminal background, according to police, who didn’t say why Vickers was in Rochester.
He was introduced by a. public defense attorney at Saturday’s indictment, but indicated he would be looking for his own lawyer, according to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle.
