Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz on Friday denied the allegations former prime minister and Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan that a “foreign conspiracy” was set up to overthrow him government.
Turning to public meeting in Fateh Jang, Attock, Maryam said that the letter Imran referred to as evidence of foreign conspiracy “doesn’t even exist”, adding that the head of PTI “lost his sanity” after losing power in commemoration of in no-confidence motion.
She accused Imran of “repeatedly changing his story” about the conspiracy.
“Sometimes he cries for a conspiracy, sometimes he cries for a letter… Now he will seek money on roads by showing this letter,” she said.
“He [Imran Khan] said the letter was delivered in March  but now he says he knew about the conspiracy since July ,” she is added.
Maryam said Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif exposes failures of Imran Khan to the nation every day. Imran Khan is not work didn’t allow myself anyone more work,” she is added.
She is also said that the head of the PTI shut down electricity power installations installed during ownership of PML-N. “When Usman Buzdar left after the reign for there was no electricity for four years in Punjab. PTI said no. need for in power plants … if it were not need why did we have unloading?” she asked.
Leader PML-N hit out at the ex-premier for his plan to march towards Islamabad, saying that Imran’s real goal is to save Farah Khan – a close friend of his wife Bushra Bibi against which the National Accountability Bureau began “assets beyond means request.
“As soon how Imran understood the impending success of a movement of distrust, he paved way for Farah to leave the country within a day.”
She asked why Farah left country if it real property business prospered and prospered in country, according to Imran. She hinted that Interior Minister Rana Sanaulla would take steps to bring the woman into the country for face allegations of corruption.
PML-N blames Imran and PTI government of using Farah as their “front man” to receive bribes in different projects on on behalf of of ruling elite.
Maryam also claimed that Imran was more annoyed that Shehbaz became prime minister than his own exile.
