DERA GHAZI KHAN: PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz visited Fazilpur on Wednesday and met flood-affected people.
She said she came to Rajanpur to share sadness of in people affected by the disaster. She said:
“According to instructions of Nawaz Sharif, I’m here to see you so you don’t feel alone in this hour of difficulty”.
She told her party leave no stone unturned to serve the people by adding the living in relief camps should do not panic at all, as the federal government would ensure reconstruction of their homes, and compensation for their damage.
She said she was leaving area with a lot of of the love and affection bestowed upon her by the locals. She visited the roadside camp and talked to women and called them to face difficulties.
“We with in people in this hour and very soon relief measures and rehabilitation begin,” she said.
According to her, government provides tents, food, medicine, blankets and clothing for in flood victims.
On the occasion of, former deputy speaker of Punjab Assembly Sher Ali Gorchani thanked Ms. Nawaz for manifestation of solidarity with in flood victims, adding that the PML-N manual is true public a spokesman who emboldened the poor people.
On the occasion of, former MPA Jamal Leghari, former MNA Dr. Hafizur Rehman Dareshak and former MPA Syed Abdul Alim Shah was present. They are also met in flood sacrifices and distribution of food items to people.
The stage collapsed during the performance of Ms. Nawaz Sharif in Fazilpur and her also fell down but not hurt. She was previously warmly welcomed by PML-N leaders and Jampur Traffic Chowk and Muhammadpur Dewan Chowk workers. They showered flowers on her.
