Malala urges Indian leaders to stop ‘marginalizing Muslims women’

Nobel laureate and education rights activist Malala Yousafzai, as she talks about the quarrel in hijab course in India, he said on Saturday that the “objectification of women – for wearing less o more – persists.

Malala, took to his Twitter and talked about the hijab controversy raging in The Indian state of Karnataka where Muslim students wearing the hijab cannot enter the college premises.

Malala said: “Refusing to let girls go to school in their hijabs are awful.

The activist spoke against the decision and urged Indian leaders to stop “marginalization of Mussulman women”.

Earlier today, a video of of a girl who is disturbed over 100 male students wearing saffron scarves has made rounds on social media.

Video caused a hustle and bustle between people in than a girl named Muskan, wearing hijab, could be seen approaching by a “saffron scarf-clad crowd” chanting “Jai Shri Ram” (victory to Lord Rama) when she entered her college.

In response, the girl sang “Allah Hu Akbar” (Allah is great) and shot it back towards the mafia.

Speaking with the local media, the girl said: “They asked me to bring my burqa off and they weren’t letting me in. As soon when I entered college, the group started singing Jai Shri Ram.

The girl claimed that the crowd included strangers and boys from her college, however, the college staff supported her. “I was scared when the crowd surrounded me,” she said added.

It is pertinent to note that the protests escalated after the dispute with the hijab in Karnataka. A few days ago, a college in Udupi blocked hijabi students outside the college.
