Labor Party leader fired after violating Starmer’s order to stay away from strike line

Keir Starmer draws union backlash on Wednesday night, sacking the front bench who joined striking railroad workers on picket line.

He moved quickly to fire Sam Tarry after the shady transport minister ignored orders by doing TV interviews with strikers in London.

He came as Aslef announced another strike on Saturday, August 13 Nine railway companies are affected. on top of scheduled promotion this Saturday.

Meanwhile, the unions expressed dissatisfaction government plans tighten laws on Industrial Activity, with RMT leader Mick Lynch suggests that he back a general strike if Liz Truss becomes prime minister on a platform for “virtually prohibiting collective action”.

“It has been an honor for me to serve on Labor front bench for in past two years and be able to speak up for hard- pressed workers who deserve much better than the treatment they received from this corrupt and out-of-touch government”said the MP for Ilford South.

“I remain committed to supporting striking railroad workers and agitation for labor victory in next general the choices that I will fight for ruthlessly from back benches”.

And he warned the Labor leadership on “straight collision well” with unions over blows, opening in Interview with BBC called him from seven union general secretaries – six of their affiliated with in party – who “outraged” about his dismissal.

TSCA general secretary Manuel Cortes said that Mr. Tarry “did the right thing and stood shoulder to shoulder”. with striking railroad workers for justice and safety in work”.

Writing in Daily TelegraphMr Shapps said he wanted to complete “unfinished business” of Margaret Thatcher on a leash in union power.

After the adoption of the law on allow in use of agency workers strikebreakers, he set out plans for additional measures, including:

  • Ban on strikes by various trade unions in the same workplace set period
  • Limit of six pickets at critical sites and ban on awesome language
  • Requirements for new ballots on every fight of strikes and at least 50 percent threshold compared to 40 percent of those who are entitled to vote currently
  • Increase in minimum notice for a two to four week strike
  • Minimum service levels during a strike on critical infrastructure such as a railroad

“Default strategy adopted by RMT et al. in industrial relations – their casual, habitual, brutal use of strike weapons – must end,” Mr. Shapps said. “Only then will this country progress to the high-performing and high-paying 21st century economy in the interests of all workers.”

Mr. Lynch predicted “an enormous response from trade union movement” if Ms Truss plans went ahead saying that his union would back a general strike, but admitted that it was decision for TUK.
