King Charles mutters “Darling, oh my god” when meeting Liz Truss.

King Charles muttered “Darling, oh my god” as he welcomed Liz Truss to Buckingham Palace. on Wednesday evening.

The monarch hosted the prime minister in one of large reception rooms of the palace after the previous meeting with King and queen of Malaysia.

The clip released by the Palace, filmed at the beginning of their weekly audience shows pair of double the doors are opened by the servants, and Miss Truss, escorted by the royal equerry, enters.

“Prime Minister, Your Majesty,” the groom announces.

Miss Truss steps forward shake hands with King, bowing at the same time.

“Your Majesty, great see you again,” she is says.

Charles, smiling, replies: “Back again?”

Miss Truss adds: “Well it great pleasure.”

The king replies, “Dear, oh dear. Anyway”.

This happened after Miss Truss faced Prime Minister’s Questions in parliament, where she insisted she would not cut spending to balance the books of economists and financial the markets continued to doubt her plans.

Ms Truss told MPs she was “absolutely” not planning public spending cuts, but insisted that taxpayers money will be used well.
