The House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 uprising asked Kellyanne Conway: who served in white house like senior adviser to then President Donald Trump on her conversations with Trump after losing the election in an interview that lasted about five hours on Monday, two familiar sources with Committee work told CNN.
The committee asked specifically about how she reportedly told acquaintances that Trump admitted to her that he knew he had lost the 2020 presidential election. one source with knowledge of cause.

Conway, historically staunch supporter of Trump admitted in her book on how Trump lost the 2020 presidential election and said he got bad advice from others.
“Despite the mountains of money Trump raised it team simply failed to get the job done. Work that was doable and had clear path if followed,” Conway wrote. in her memoirs, published in May. “Instead of taking responsibility for loss, they played along and lent full throat encouragement (in private, not on TV) when Trump kept insisting that he won”.
Conway’s interview shows the committee is still working on complete its investigation, while working on finish this is final report ahead of republican takeover of Congress in January.
Members of Committee in active discussion of what to include in in panelx final report, which they say will be published by the end of in year. Members expect him to focus on questions that go beyond how Trump’s Efforts to Prevent Peaceful Transfer of power caused the violence that day.
The report will effectively serve as the committee’s closing statement, but with less than two months left before panel expires since the Republicans will take over majority of house in January.
