Jyotiraditya Scindia To File Nomination For Rajya Sabha Polls, Here’s How Numbers Stand In MP

Former Union Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who signed up with BJP just recently, will file nomination documents on Friday for the March 26 Rajya Sabha polls from Madhya Pradesh. The BJP called Scindia as its Rajya Sabha prospect from Madhya Pradesh soon after he signed up with the saffron-bloc.

In Madhya Pradesh, 3 Rajya Sabha seats are falling uninhabited of which BJP is having 2 while Congress has one.

“Scindia ji will file the nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha polls after garlanding the statues of BJP leaders, including Deendayal Upadhyaya and Rajmata Scindia, around noon on Friday”, Madhya Pradesh BJP Media Cell in-charge Lokendra Parashar stated.

With Kamal Nath federal government dealing with a grim future in Madhya Pradesh following the disobedience of 22 MLAs devoted to Scindia, an eager fight in between BJP and Congress for Rajya Sabha polls is on cards.

Both Congress and BJP are set to comfy win one seat each in the state and the significant battle seems the 3rd.

Congress had 114 MLAs in the 228- member assembly and the celebration likewise delighted in the assistance of 4 Independents, 2 BSP and one SP MLA.
