January 6 Hearing News: Commission Links Trump to Fake Voters Plan

Fourth hearing by the House Committee of Inquiry on January 6, 2021, attack on capitol centered on deliberate attempts by Mr Trump and his allies to seize one of basics of democracy: process behind peaceful transfer of power.

The Committee laid out evidence showing how Mr Trump led campaign who played out in two interrelated ways: applying direct pressure on Republican officials in swing states to reverse their loss and implement plan to name “alternative” tablets of the electors intended to sway the Electoral College result in Favor Mr Trump.

The committee did not specify whether Trump was informed of the meeting. with Office of the White House Counsel. Last week, panel testified that Mr. Eastman told Mr. Trump that the broader effort they were making to convince Vice President Mike Pence to block or delay certification of The Electoral College considers in Biden’s favor had no legal basis – fact which, according to experts in the field of law, can help prosecutors build a criminal case against Mr Trump.

The commission showed examples of how Mr. Trump and his allies knew there was no evidence that the election was stolen.

Mr Bowers told how Mr. Giuliani confessed to him one dot in telephone call that they couldn’t find proof of the scam they needed.

He said: “We have a lot of theories, we just I have no evidence,” Mr. Bowers recalled, as Mr. Giuliani told him. “As well as I don’t know if this is an oversight or maybe he didn’t think through what he said, but I and others in my groupthree in my group and my counsel both remembered what exactly, and then we are kind of laughed at it.”

I don’t go to the grocery store generally. I haven’t been anywhere at all. I gained about 60 pounds. I just don’t do anything else. I don’t want go anywhere.”

She said she enjoyed her election work, but eventually quit.

Brad Raffensperger, Georgia secretary of state, narrated how in home of his son’s widow was broken into.

Mister Bowers was the target of protests and threats daughter was dying. And he described how his office received over 20,000 letters and dozens of thousands of voice mail messages and texts that made it’s impossible for him and his staff to communicate.
