The IT laboratory for university education was handed over at the Pannonian University in Veszprém, where students can get acquainted with the corporate and government IT environment, said the Deputy Secretary of State for Digitization at the handover ceremony on Tuesday.
Balázs Károly Solymár stated: within the framework of the Program for the Future program, the first such facility consisting of three laboratories in Veszprém was handed over in Veszprém. In the laboratories, students can practice networking on the one hand, cloud construction on the other hand, and engineering design on the third hand. In the framework of the program, the instructors have also been trained, and the students will also have the opportunity to take a free exam.
Ferenc Vonderviszt, Deputy Rector of the University of Pannonia, emphasized that the contribution to digital transformation is extremely important in the life of the university, and the new laboratory offers great opportunities for progress
Barbara Hegedűs, Deputy Mayor of Veszprém called the “transition to digital solutions” a priority, adding that the university would be seen as a partner in the process.
